Greetings from the state of Georgia!
Things have been quite hectic since we moved; we have done quite a few
conferences and workshops, including some conference worship services. We are
still on the road, up and down the east coast with our puppets. Only now we
start from the south and go north instead of north to south. Go figure.
Right after we moved, we loaded up the van including Tigger, our cat and took
a five-week vacation; we went
to AL, TN, AR, OK, KS, CO, UT, NV, AZ, NM, TX, MS, FL and back to GA. We spent
one week on a houseboat on a lake in OK. We spent almost a week visiting Jim’s
Sister Ginny and her family in the Denver area. We went to Glenwood Springs, CO.
We took a helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon. We did somewhere around 5,000
miles. Jim calls it our “vacation of a lifetime”. It was nice to travel at
our own pace for a change and just stop wherever we wanted along the way.
Our
new home is a fixer upper. What else? We have done some renovation to the inside
but when the hot hot summer left, we decided to add a Florida room on the back
of our new home. And then we decided to add a second floor to the Florida room.
Sooooooooooooooo, we are still renovating. The guest room is about the most
finished room in the house. We did that on purpose so that we can offer
hospitality to those of you who are traveling up or down I-95.
The
most recent big news is that our Grandson Jamie got married to lovely Linsley on
December 8th . They just got back from their honeymoon cruise. This tends
to make you feel old, when your grandkids start getting married! We are
members of the Bethesda Church in Hinesville, GA. The pastor is Phil Byler. It
is a blessing to be with the whole Byler clan and our new Christian family here
in Georgia. As always, if the Lord brings us to your mind please pray for
us. We will do the same for you. God Bless you richly and be well.
We Love You!
Jim and Bonnie
